Saddle Up Boys

April 1, 2010

image.out?imageId=media v14899491T6XXMWqj1215719587 Saddle Up BoysThe hard working men and women of the BCSO have never received a year-end bonus. They put their lives on the line every day to protect the citizens of Bradley County for low wages and little appreciation. Sheriff Tim Gobble said he wanted to do something for them so he took leftover money from the salary line item in last year's budget and divided it equally among all BCSO employees below the rank of captain who have been employed for a year or longer. It wasn't much but, as they say, it's the thought that counts. And at least it boosted morale and put a little gas money in a few pockets.
